Good Medicine Wellness Foundation

Honouring Healing, Culture, and Community

Good Medicine Wellness Foundation is a federally incorporated non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cultural healing, mental wellness, and community resilience. Rooted in Indigenous knowledges and wholistic healing practices, our foundation provides accessible programming that supports individuals and families on their healing journeys.

Our Mission

We are committed to ensuring that Indigenous peoples have access to culturally-grounded mental health support, traditional knowledges, and healing spaces. While our focus is on Indigenous healing, we also offer opportunities for non-Indigenous peoples to learn and engage in a culturally respectful way, fostering understanding and reconciliation.

Why it Matters

True healing happens when we reconnect with our roots, our stories, and each other. Our foundation ensures that traditional healing practices remain accessible to those who need them most, particularly Indigenous peoples navigating intergenerational trauma, systemic barriers, and the impacts of colonization. By fostering culturally-rooted healing, we contribute to the resilience, wellness, and self-determination of our communities.

What We Do

Good Medicine Wellness Foundation operates independently from Good Medicine Wellness, our for-profit healing center. However, both share a vision of wholistic wellness and community care. Our foundation focuses on:

For Non-Indigenous Allies

Attend educational workshops, read Indigenous-led resources, and approach learning with humility and respect.

Support Without Centering Yourself

Some ceremonies and teachings may be open to allies, while others are reserved for Indigenous participants. We encourage allies to ask questions respectfully and honour the cultural protocols of each space.
